Cleaning Tips: De-ick that Nasty Kitchen Sponge

You know that sponge…you know, the one that sits at the sink? Sometimes damp or dry on the side, but often floating in some soapy water as the dishes soak. That sponge is teeming with bacteria. And since a kitchen sponge is never really dry, those bacteria always have a nice, warm home…for making more bacteria.

And each time you use that sponge to clean your pots and pans, to wipe down the kitchen counters, to clear off the dining table, you share those bacteria with the rest of your family.

Unless you clean your sponge.
